1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using EduTech Solutions' services, including SnapSheet, Time Bank, and Study Buddy (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Services.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and EduTech Solutions Inc. ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). We may modify these Terms at any time, and such modifications will be effective immediately upon posting.

If you are under 18 years of age, you represent that your parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

2. Description of Services

EduTech Solutions provides cloud-based educational technology services designed to enhance learning experiences for students, teachers, and parents:

SnapSheet

Homework management and assignment tracking platform for educational institutions

Time Bank

Screen time management and parental control application for families

Study Buddy

AI-powered tutoring and study assistance platform (coming soon)

Our Services are provided "as is" and may be modified, updated, or discontinued at our discretion. We strive to provide advance notice of significant changes that may affect your use of the Services.

3. User Accounts & Eligibility

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Students: Must be enrolled in a participating educational institution
  • Teachers: Must be employed by or affiliated with an educational institution
  • Parents: Must have children enrolled in participating institutions
  • Administrators: Must be authorized representatives of educational institutions

Account Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the security and confidentiality of your account credentials
  • Use the service in accordance with your institution's policies
  • Respect the intellectual property rights of others
  • Report any security vulnerabilities or inappropriate content
  • Ensure all information provided is accurate and up-to-date
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Respect other users and maintain appropriate online behavior
  • Use the service only for its intended educational purposes

4. Acceptable Use Policy

Our Services are designed for educational purposes. You agree to use the Services responsibly and in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Prohibited Activities:

You may NOT:

  • Using the service for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose
  • Attempting to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems
  • Uploading or sharing content that is harmful, threatening, or inappropriate
  • Interfering with or disrupting the service or servers
  • Using automated tools to access the service without permission
  • Sharing login credentials or allowing unauthorized access to your account
  • Attempting to reverse engineer or copy any part of the service
  • Using the service to spam, harass, or send unsolicited communications

Violation of this Acceptable Use Policy may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account without notice.

5. Educational Institution Terms

When we provide Services to educational institutions, additional terms apply:

FERPA Compliance

We act as a "school official" under FERPA and handle educational records in accordance with institutional policies and applicable law.

Data Processing

Student data is processed solely for educational purposes as directed by the institution and in compliance with privacy laws.

6. Intellectual Property

Our Rights:

The Services, including all content, features, and functionality, are owned by EduTech Solutions and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Your Rights:

You retain ownership of any content you submit to our Services. By submitting content, you grant us a limited license to use, store, and display your content as necessary to provide the Services.

Educational Content:

Content created for educational purposes (assignments, submissions, etc.) remains the property of the creating party, subject to institutional policies and applicable law.

7. Privacy & Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection, use, and protection of your information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

8. Payment & Billing

Some of our Services may require payment. All fees are non-refundable unless specifically stated otherwise or required by applicable law.

  • • Price changes will be communicated with 30 days advance notice
  • • Failure to pay may result in service suspension

9. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high service availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. Planned maintenance will be communicated in advance when possible.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time with appropriate notice. Upon termination, your access to the Services will cease.

Data Handling Upon Termination:

  • • You may export your data within 30 days of termination
  • • We will retain data as required by law or institutional policy
  • • Personal data will be deleted according to our retention policy
  • • Educational records will be handled per FERPA requirements
